Some of the species in the setting of Nahala.
There are also species of giant cats that somewhat resemble Lynxes, along with giant jumping spiders and crabs. All used and outfitted by humans to wage unmerciful, adorable war. Et cetera. Also, there are a good number of supernatural creatures, including lesser manifestations of greater beings worshiped as gods and known to the few that are aware of their existence as Archeonoms: allegorical manifestations of the nature of all things that have existed in various forms across unknowable universes and planets for the entirety of creation. They're lots of fun. I play with Latin roots and pre/suffixes for most of the names of creatures and things in this setting. |
