Description

The Archeonom some know as Piaculum, the manifest concept of sin, redemption and revitalization, has saw fit to restore the world to a state of paradise, as it once was.

To this end, Piaculum's goal is to grant the previous god of the world, the Archeonom known as Veris, a new body. The first step in this plan is reforming the body of Veris' human Digen, Thadian, which Veris will use as a vessel to bring himself back into the world.

Piaculum now reaps the innumerable stolen souls and corpses of billions of humans to refashion a coil for Thadian's immortal consciousness, which has gone mad over the course of the past several billion years. Piaculum began this work eons ago, and only now does it near its finality.

Piaculum, itself, appears in a variety of forms, with many names. It often chooses the rotting amalgam of man and beast. Its left arm lie exposed, filled with maggots, ever-bleeding from its ripped skin and decrepit muscle. Its skeletal torso is devoid of tissue save for its organs, which continue to beat and breathe. Atop its spine sits the skull of a beast, with four horns, a long and slender tongue and the eyes of a man. The white, dry hair of a corpse drapes down its back, and onto the soiled vestments which conceal the rest of its form. It is twice as tall as some men, and speaks with unmoving jaws in a thundering, wet garble, bloodied by blight-infested fluids and a gangrene mesh of misplace meat and chords. The sound of locusts and the smell of death often join it.

Piaculum, like all Archeonoms, is an inherited god from a previous universe and world, which has lived for as long as worlds have been created. It cannot die, and lives only to enact the unchained will of what it considers to be God.

Looks like one of my old characters I came up with before I started my devianart channel. Nice concept, it's like looking into my past.
